Tasting Notes
This
Cab exhibits a remarkable balance of acid and structure, with a deep purple
colour and powerful but firm soft tannins. On the nose, it expresses aromas of
dry herbs, earthiness, cassis and tobacco. It has flavours of ripe blackberry,
black tea and dark chocolate with a long and pronounced French oak on the
finish.

Pairings
Pairs well with lamb and venison, and fatty red meats like a ribeye steak. It also pairs
well with aged hard cheese.

Old Vine Zinfandel is a luscious, silky smooth, full-bodied wine with aromas of
blackberry, and allspice. The wine opens up to sweet toasty oak flavors,
followed by a concentrated core of well-balanced acidity, soft but firm
tannins, and a lingering oak finish on the palate.
